A First Time for Everything

A First Time for Everything

A First Time for Everything is a delightful, sparkling farce. If plays were drinks this one would be champagne! Having said that, the script is not only an elegant joke; but also it's filled with biting social commentary and raises a lot of uncomfortable issues, such as xenophobia, ignorance and the impact these things can have on one's life, the identity of an individual and ways of finding out who you truly are.

The main character of the play is leading a double life. On the outside he is a respectable family man who is married to the granddaughter of a once influential politician. However, he is in fact bisexual and is secretly dating other guys. His wife knows nothing about that side of his life, but later in the play it becomes apparent that she also has things to hide.

A First Time for Everything is a briliant script, filled with typical English humour and deep, thought-provoking social commentary.

This project was truly a collaborative effort as every actor involved in it brought forward their own ideas and left a strong imprint of their personalities on the final outcome - the performance.
