The Man With The Flower in His Mouth
In an all night café two strangers meet. One has just missed his train, and another is a regular who spends his days observing the life around him. The two men are very different and yet they quickly dive into a long and passionate philosophical discussion that will change them both forever.

A Spoonful of Sadness
During the Venetian Carnival Harlequin admits to his friend, Pierrot, that he has always wanted to experience sadness. Pierrot is surprised and is unable to help Harlequin because the latter is the embodiment of joy, and not to be merry is not in his nature. However, a mysterious young woman joins into their conversation and promises to cook a special meal for Harlequin which will allow him to taste sadness.
